Here’s How to Make the Best Dalgona Coffee/Milo

One of the things that apparently has gone trendy and made everybody go crazy and posting it on Tik Tok, Facebook, and Instagram right now is the viral Dalgona Coffee and then.. Milo. It is made up of only a few ingredients that you can simply find in your kitchen cabinet, whip it up and voila.

If you still don’t know what Dalgona Coffee is, let me brief you! It is foamy and creamy coffee made by vigorously whipping the instant coffee with sugar and water, resulting in a foamy whipped cream to be spooned over a cup of milk! For non-coffee fans but want to join the hype, you can replace the coffee with Milo instead.

So you know why people are going gaga for the trendy Dalgona drinks as it’s super easy (actually tiring) to make, and fun to play around with! And you can train your arm muscles too.

About how it actually began there’s a Korean YouTuber by the name of Ddulgi posted a tutorial video with over 3 million views and counting now. However, the recipe has existed for years in some other countries.

Now we show you how to make this fun and delicious viral Dalgona Coffee/Milo!


  • 2tbsp instant coffee (desired brand) or Milo
  • 2 tbsp sugar (adjust according to your liking.)
  • 500ml fresh milk (desired brand)
  • 2tbsp hot water


Step 1: Whisk the instant coffee, hot water, and sugar vigorously together. It might take 400 reps or at least 10 minutes of whip to make it really thick and frothy. You can train your muscles here.
Step 2: One it reaches the right consistency. Pour the fresh milk on a glass.
Step 3: Sit back and enjoy!
